Dr. Ozgur completed his undergraduate studies at the University of California, Irvine, before earning his medical degree at the University of Vermont College of Medicine. He then served at the University of Hawaii John A. Burns School of Medicine, in Honolulu. Dr. Ozgur went on to complete his residency in ophthalmology at the New York Eye & Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai in New York City, before studying at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center.
